Portland Community Dental Clinic
Supporting the residents of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside neighbourhood, the Portland Community Dental Clinic treats, on average, 8-12 patients per day, four days a week, with two staff dentists.
The central focus of the clinic is to provide comprehensive oral health care to individuals on income assistance, job training and other pre-employment programs, regardless of their lifestyle and socio-economic background. This clinical facility provides delivery and observation of care by senior dental students and dental residents.
