Skidegate Rotation
In collaboration with Health Canada and the Haida Gwaii First Nations community, UBC opened the Skidegate Dental Clinic in the Queen Charlotte Islands.
Today, our general practice residents enjoy a cultural and educational experience by actively providing dental care to the people of Haida Gwaii. This program allows residents to formally capture the community’s prevention and treatment needs as part of the development of a broader community dental health strategy.
