Jim Grisdale, DDS, Dip Prosth, Dip Perio, MRCD(c), is a Certified Specialist in Periodontics and Prosthodontics and maintains a private practice in Vancouver. He is a mentor for Periodontic and Prosthodontic Study Clubs, and has been a clinical instructor in the Division of Periodontics in the Faculty of Dentistry at The University of British Columbia. Dr. Grisdale received an Award of Merit for Restorative Dentistry and lectures internationally. He is an active participant in clinical research and the study of contemporary periodontal products, and has published in the area of treatment for dentin sensitivity, implants, bone regeneration and soft tissue periodontal adhesives. Dr. Grisdale is a member of several professional societies.

Paul A. Witt, DDS, Dip Ortho, FRCD(C), graduated in Dentistry from the University of Toronto in 1974 and received a Diploma in Orthodontics in 1979, also from the University of Toronto. Dr. Witt has been teaching orthodontics since 1981 and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Graduate Orthodontics Program in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia.

Clement Lear, BDS, DMD, DipOrtho, FCDSBC, is a certified specialist in Orthodontics and has a private practice limited to orthodontics in Burnaby. Dr. Lear holds degrees from the University of New Zealand and Harvard University. He undertook graduate work, research, and teaching for nine years at Harvard. He was Head of the Department of Orthodontics at UBC for thirteen years and has lectured widely to undergraduate students and general and specialist practitioners in Canada and the United States.
