Spotlight on Dentistry at UBC Alumni Weekend

UBC's Alumni Weekend takes place on just one day this year—Saturday, May 28. Named Party at the Point, this year marks Dentistry's largest participation yet.
Join over 50 faculty, students, alumni, staff and friends of UBC Dentistry for a fantastic roster of events:
UBC Dentistry Faculty/Alumni Band
The band features Bill Mcdonald DMD 1977, Bill Rosebush DMD 1983, Dr. Larry Rossoff (full time faculty), Dr. Duncan Higgins (part-time faculty), and Derek Decloux DMD 2011.
They will be playing between 3 and 5 pm outside the Student Union Building in front of the grassy knoll.
Some festival seating will be provided, but dress for the weather as this is an outdoor event. More more information e-mail Jenn Parsons.
SuperChefs of the Universe: Interactive Show
SuperChefs of the Universe, a circus-type show for children that promotes healthy eating and fight childhood obesity, will perform throughout the day.
The show will comprise of a 10 to 15 minute interactive show for kids, then an opportunity for kids to try their hand at some basic circus tricks!
Several of Dentistry's dental hygiene students will be on site promoting good oral hygiene and handing out toothbrushes to kids.

The Tooth fairy
Meet the Tooth Fairy! She will be on onsite between 11am to 4 pm in the same area as SuperChefs.
