Dentistry Gifts in Kind


What is a gift in kind?

All types of property donated to the University, except cash and educational discounts. For example: a medical scanner or toothbrushes.

What do we accept?

We work in partnership with our faculty members to determine if there are areas in which equipment and supplies are needed. The gift must be consdered relevant to the University and/or have academic merit.

What Gifts in Kind are not eligible for a charitibale tax receipt?

All gifts to UBC will receive a formal acknowledgement from the University. However, services (such as donated time, labour & skills, loans & leases of property) are not eligible for a charitable tax receipt.

Official charitable tax receipts are issued in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines and in accordance with procedures established by UBC.
