Wellness Together Canada: Mental Health and Substance Use Support
Wellness Together Canada provides tools and resources for Canadians during the current pandemic. We understand that COVID-19 has impacted our students uniquely, and we hope that the resources we share may provide some support. Wellness Together Canada includes modules for addressing low mood, worry, substance use, social isolation, and relationship issues.
Wellness Together Canada offers the following at no cost to Canadians:
- Wellness self-assessment and tracking
- Self-guided courses, apps, and other resources
- Group coaching
- A community of support
- Counselling by text or phone
COVID-19 Support and Self-Assessment
The Government of Canada has provided an app for COVID-19 information and physical self-assessment of COVID-19 symptoms.
UBC Vancouver Wellness Centre: Online Modules
The Wellness Centre Online is a Canvas space for students to access up-to-date health information and education.
New modules have been added to help support your physical and mental wellbeing.
- Thriving at a Distance – Learn more about maintaining wellbeing as a student, both generally and during challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Find ways to take care of your mental and physical health with the Thrive 5.
- Learn about Sexual Health – Discover evidence-based health information and resources about sexuality, relationships and sex education.
- Peer Stories – All summer, Wellness Peers and student staff at the Wellness Centre have been writing stories to connect you to student experiences of health & wellbeing.
