You and a Guest Are Invited to an Evening of Education and Connection at “Purple Night,” the 2019 UBC Dentistry Dental Hygiene Alumni Event

Alumni from all grad years are invited to attend and meet our current fourth-year graduating class in this annual not-to-be-missed event!

Join guest speaker UBC Dentistry alumna Cheri Wu, BDSc 2003 who will cover all the bases in her 1-hour CE session titled: “New Aerosol Management Guidelines: Are you in Compliance?” In addition, Cheri will share some of her experiences and insights regarding her independent dental hygiene clinic in Victoria, BC. This session is presented by Dentsply Sirona, a UBC Dentistry Alumni Partner.

A special purple gift will be given to all alumni.

Cheri Wu

Cheri Wu holds a BDSc(DH) from UBC and is a registered dental hygienist with 25 years dedicated to clinical practice and education, including 10 years in non-profit dental care. In 2011, Cheri opened her own independent dental hygiene clinic in Victoria, B.C. – ‘Focus On Dental Hygiene’ and holds a faculty position with Camosun College. In partnership with Dentsply Sirona, Cheri presents scientific, evidenced-based information and hands-on education for ultrasonic instrumentation and air polishing. Her accomplishments include the 2012 Camosun College Distinguished Alumni Award and the 2014 Barbara Heisterman Award for Innovation and Commitment to Care.
