From March 21–24, UBC Dentistry faculty members and students showcased their research at the ADEA Annual Session in Montréal. This international gathering brings together the oral health education community to share research, explore emerging trends and advance dental education.
The Faculty was well represented by Dean pro tem Dr. Andrea Esteves, alongside faculty members Dr. Kavita Mathu-Muju, Dr. Luana Carvalho, Dr. Ivan Chan, Dr. Eli Whitney and Dr. Zul Kanji, as well as Salima Alibhai, Charn Dhami and Penny Hatzimanolakis. They were joined by graduate students Negar Sasani, Mya Badesha and Dr. Leila Gholami, as well as students Kinjal Saxena (DMD 2027 candidate), Iliya Mazani (DMD 2027 candidate) and Emily Wang (DMD 2028 candidate).
