For more than four decades, Dr. Paul Witt has helped shape UBC Dentistry’s Orthodontic Module and the careers of thousands of dental professionals across BC. As he retires, the program enters a new era under the leadership of alumnus Dr. Bernardo Urbanetto Peres, continuing a tradition of excellence in orthodontics.

Announcing the British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA) Oral Health Foundation
The BCDA Oral Health Foundation is a new charitable entity focusing on improving access to oral health care for British Columbians in need. The Foundation will continue to work with the UBC Faculty of Dentistry through the long-standing Save a Smile program, a 35-year initiative that has supported access to urgent dental care for children in need across BC.
