UBC Dentistry Receives Historic $7.2M Gift From Planmeca
The UBC Dentistry leadership team is proud to announce a transformative $7.2 million CAD gift from Planmeca, marking the largest corporate donation in the Faculty’s history to date.
Dentistry has been a constant presence in Dr. Michael MacEntee’s life. His father was one of Ireland’s first college-educated dentists who went on to set up a practice in a small town. The youngest of three children, he was the only one to follow in his father’s footsteps.
We are honoured to share that Dr. Catherine Poh has been appointed a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Oral Cancer Research.
