Dr. Ahmed Hieawy has been honoured with the 2024 Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry (ACFD) National Dental Teaching Award in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to dental education.

Each year, the ACFD presents the National Dental Teaching Award faculty member teaching within a Canadian DDS or DMD program who displays exceptional teaching qualities and demonstrates a strong interest and commitment to the student learning experience.

The award was presented to Dr. Hieawy on June 22 during the 2024 Canadian Oral Health Summit Gala Dinner in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Congratulations Dr. Hieawy!
