Mahatma Gandhi Samman to Dr. Ravindra Shah

Dr. Ravindra Shah, Director of International Relations at UBC Dentistry, was awarded the Mahatma Gandhi Samman.

The award was presented at a function of the Global Achievers Conclave to mark the 144th birthday anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, considered by India as the “Father of the Nation”.

The function took place on October 4, 2013, at the House of Lords (the second chamber of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland).

The award recognizes his achievements in international work during his long career.
