The UBC Faculty of Dentistry’s Research Day highlights current research accomplishments and showcases innovative and groundbreaking research projects via oral and poster presentations by undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, visiting scientists and faculty members. An ever-popular feature is a ‘rapid talks’ session where selected researchers have four minutes to describe their research.
Schedule of Events
The day will highlight the outstanding research conducted by undergraduate and graduate students in the Faculty, and showcase how student-led inquiry contributes to the future of dentistry. Listen to presentations, view research posters and network with potential mentors and collaborators while deepening your appreciation of the role research plays in advancing patient care. Dr. Catherine Poh, Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Oral Cancer Research, will deliver the day’s keynote presentation.
Registration
All faculty, staff and students are required to register for this event by Monday, January 19.
