The British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA) honoured many individuals at their annual Toothfairy Gala in Vancouver on March 9, 2013.

President’s Award

• Dr. Charles Shuler, Professor and Dean, UBC Dentistry

Distinguished Service Award

• Dr. Robert Priddy, Professor Emeritus, UBC Dentistry
• Dr. Saida Rasul, Past Part-Time Faculty Member, UBC Dentistry
• Dr. Ken Stones, Part-Time Faculty Member, UBC Dentistry; and active volunteer dentist, Volunteer Community Clinic Program, UBC Dentistry

Merit Award

• Dr. Doug Johnston, Retired Faculty Member and Former Director of Graduate Pediatric Dentistry, UBC Dentistry; former Head, Pediatric Dentistry, BC Children’s Hospital
• Dr. Ken Lee, Part-Time Faculty Member, UBC Dentistry
• Dr. Robert McDougall, UBC Dentistry alumnus, DMD 1991
• Dr. Christopher Zed, Clinical Associate Professor, Head, Postgraduate and Hospital Programs, Associate Dean, Strategic and External Affairs, UBC Dentistry
