This past summer, the Faculty of Dentistry participated in the UBC Diversifying Health Professions Education (D’HoPE) program, welcoming 30 equity-deserving high school and undergraduate students who learned about the seven participating UBC health-related programs. The D’HoPE program facilitates mentorship and creates connections through activities including meeting health professionals and current students, panel discussions and visits to clinical, teaching and research sites across campus.
