Dr. Ahmed Ballo
Graduate prosthodontics student Dr. Ahmed Ballo who won third place in the poster competition at the International Team for Implantology (ITI) Congress held in San Francisco from April 25 to 27, 2019. His poster was titled “Digital Workflow of Tooth-Supported Guided Implant Placement for Full-Arch Maxillary Rehabilitation in a Terminal Dentition Patient: A Technical Case Report.”
This new technique has the potential to improve the accuracy of the implant placement for a full mouth rehabilitation by integrating the information from CT with that of the intraoral digital impression of the remaining teeth before extracting them after implants placement.
