Dr. Bingshuang Zou

The Faculty is pleased to announce that Dr. Bingshuang Zou will be taking on the role of Graduate Student Advisor, beginning March 1, 2022.

Dr. Zou first came to UBC as a Visiting Associate Professor in 2014, and has worked in the Division of Orthodontics, with both undergraduate and graduate students, ever since. In 2018, she was appointed as an Associate Professor with tenure track, and to this point, has focused her teaching and research in Orthodontics.

In this new role, Dr. Zou will be helping with many aspects of graduate programs including ensuring that graduate students working on research theses are matched with supervisors, and making sure that graduate students are informed of any important deadlines. She will also act as the liaison between graduate students and their mentors, the Faculty’s graduate program, and UBC’s Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies office, and much more. In this role, Dr. Zou is excited to help our graduate students fulfill their goals during their graduate studies.
