In Memoriam
We are saddened to share the passing of Stephanie Brawn (January 29, 1944 – September 2, 2024).
After graduating from the University of Alberta’s dental hygiene program in 1967, Stephanie became actively involved in education, instructing first and second-year dental hygiene students at UBC Dentistry, mentoring periodontal study clubs and leading Continuing Dental Education (CDE) courses. Stephanie also dedicated many years as an instructor and examiner for UBC’s CDE program in local anesthesia and served as an examiner for the BC board exams.
