Dr. Ernest Lam graduated from the UBC DMD (1989) and MSc (1991) programs and has gone on to have an exciting career as an oral and maxillofacial radiologist. We connected with Dr. Lam to learn more about his time at UBC Dentistry and his unique career pathway.
Overall Lab Receives $5.4 Million in Funding
Drs. Leonard Foster, Honglin Luo, Chris Overall, Arinjay Banerjee, Gabriela Cohen Freue, B. Brett Finlay, Michael Gold, Eric Jan, Sheila Teves, and Stuart Turvey received a grant from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation and BC Knowledge Development Fund, totalling $5.4 million, for their project titled “Transformative and disruptive systems immunology.”
UBC Dentistry Announces Faculty Promotions
We are pleased to announce that, effective July 1, 2024, Dr. Jolanta Aleksejuniene has been promoted to the rank of Professor with tenure, and Dr. Bingshuang Zou has been awarded tenure in the rank of Associate Professor.
