The UBC Faculty of Dentistry’s Research Day highlights current research accomplishments and showcases innovative and groundbreaking research projects via oral and poster presentations by undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, visiting scientists and faculty members. An ever-popular feature is a ‘rapid talks’ session where selected researchers have four minutes to describe their research.

The entire Faculty is invited to participate, including dental students, dental hygiene students, graduate students, postgraduate residents, staff, postdoctoral research fellows, research associates, visiting scientists, and full-time and part-time faculty.

There are no classes scheduled for that day. All students have been pre-registered for this event and are expected to attend; regular absence policies will apply. If you cannot attend, please contact David Yuen, Manager, Student Services, at david.yuen@ubc.ca.

Letters of attendance will be sent to attendees following the event.

There will be a poster competition with first place in each category awarded $500!
