Periodontics

Treatment is provided by students in the UBC Graduate Program in Periodontics.

Periodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the maintenance of health, the diagnosis and treatment of gum disease, and the placement of dental implants. The periodontal specialty program is an additional three years following graduation from an accredited dental school program.

Services

Diagnostic services for gum and bone surrounding teeth: gum disease prevention and treatment, gum grafts, implant placement, bone grafts and sinus lifts are some of our services.

Who can receive treatment?

Patients who require specialized treatment for their periodontal health. Referrals from their General Dentist are required when the waitlist is open.

Fees

Fees for treatment are 80% of what most family dentists charge.


Become a patient

We are currently only accepting patients that require three or more implants and/or soft tissue grafting. This program requires a referral from a dentist. Please have your dentist complete the following form:
