On October 18, 2022, the UBC Faculty of Dentistry Trailblazers: An evening of awards and celebration took place at the AMS Student Nest with nearly 200 attendees. Formerly known as Dean’s Night, the event celebrated faculty accomplishments in education, research and community engagement. Several faculty also received student-nominated teaching awards, highlighting their commitment and passion for training the next generation of dental professionals. Awards were handed out to 77 students, recognizing their exceptional academic achievements, leadership and community involvement.
