The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada will consider applications to the DMD degree completion program from graduates of international dental programs that are not accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada. This two year program will lead to the awarding of the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
The teaching, research and clinical facilities of the Faculty are housed in the John Barfoot MacDonald Building where the latest concepts in educational methodology, research and training are applied. Library facilities are provided in the Woodward Biomedical Library. The DMD degree program is designed to prepare students to practise their chosen profession with a high degree of technical skill based on a sound knowledge of the related biological sciences, and to make them aware of the role of the dentist as a health professional in the community.
